Born in Jackson, Mississippi, USA, Tish's artistic gift was recognized early in her childhood. Art remained an avocation until 2003, when she left a successful career in international development to dedicate herself fully to art and moved to Florence, Italy, for intensive training at the Angel Academy of Art.
Having completed her studies in 2007, she now divides her time between Florence, Italy, Washington, DC, and Columbia, SC, as a professional artist specializing in classical realism.
Tish has a passion for the visual and performing arts, a storehouse of interesting experiences, a lively intellect and robust sense of humor, and a deep appreciation of the spiritual journey of the soul, all of which inspire and inform her drawing and painting.
Tish is clear on her goal. “I want to create art that holds a mirror up to the human soul so that viewers will gain insight and be changed for the better.”
